Beh Oi Siew (24271) as the sole proprietor of M/S Jessie Management (‘the Company’) had been punished and imposed a fine of RM1,500-00 and costs of RM2,000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 16/12/2019 where she was found to have provided public practice services since 17/2/2017 without a valid practising certificate issued by the Institute and had advertised that the Company is in the business of providing finance and accounting outsourcing services on its website.

Ooi Kok Yong (17494),

  1. as the director of Weld Corporate Services S/B (‘the Company’) had been punished and imposed a fine of RM3,000-00 and costs of RM2,000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 16/12/2019 where he had professed to providing public practice services and held himself out as a member in public services without a valid practising certificate  issued by the Institute from 26/8/2002 till 16/11/2018.
  2. as the director of the Company he had been punished and imposed a fine of RM2,000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 16/12/2019 where he had on or about 9/11/2018 advertised a recruitment advertisement in the Jobstreet for a vacancy of an audit assistant and further stated in the said advertisement that the Company provides audit, taxation, company secretary and accounting services, which may lead the public at large to infer that he provides public practice services, when he is not entitled to provide such services.

Tan Woon Chiew (18012),

  1. as the director of Weld Corporate Services S/B (‘the Company’) had been punished and imposed a fine of RM3,000-00 and costs of RM2,000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 16/12/2019  where she had professed to providing public practice services and held herself out as a member in public services without a valid  practising certificate issued by the Institute  from 16/11/2001 till 16/11/2018.
  2. as the director of the Company she had been punished and imposed a fine of RM2,000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 16/12/2019 where she had on or about 9/11/2018 advertised a recruitment advertisement in the Jobstreet for a vacancy of an audit assistant and further stated in the said advertisement that the Company provides audit, taxation, company secretary and accounting services, which may lead the public at large to infer that she provides public practice services, when she is not entitled to provide such services.
